A delegation of international businesses and experts visited the ESG-standard management and operations model at Galaxy Innovation Hub on September 26, 2024.
The visit took place during the Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum, attracting technology corporations and research organizations from Europe, Japan, China, and Malaysia. The delegation explored the construction process and functional design of the Galaxy Innovation Hub building, experienced real-world applications of technology in management and operations, and engaged in discussions with organizations and experts working at the center.
Galaxy Innovation Hub was built on an area of more than 35,000 m² within Saigon Hi-Tech Park. Groundbreaking took place on February 21, 2020, and after nearly three years, the facility became operational as a pioneering industrial transformation model developed by HDBank.
The center has become a collaboration hub for leading multinational technology corporations such as Nidec and Nipro (Japan), Samsung (South Korea), Intel, Meta, and Google (USA). Numerous domestic tech startups and projects also operate here.
International experts in the delegation highly appreciated the ESG-compliant management and operations model, as well as the Data Center developed to international standards.
During the visit, HDBank representatives introduced information about Galaxy Innovation Hub. Shortly after becoming operational, the center received the Vietnam Design Award VMARK 2022, organized by VDAS. This award recognizes outstanding design capabilities, innovative initiatives, and creative ideas from individuals, businesses, and investors in Vietnam.
Galaxy Innovation Hub was also selected by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the World Economic Forum (WEF) to host the workshop “Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Ho Chi Minh City (C4IR) – A New Driver for Sustainable Development” on April 25. This activity laid the foundation for the establishment of C4IR in Ho Chi Minh City on September 25.
At the inauguration, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao — a founding member of C4IR — affirmed that the launch of Galaxy Innovation Hub marks a significant leap in technological infrastructure, creating an innovation ecosystem that promotes sustainable growth. The center is a key project implemented by HDBank in Saigon Hi-Tech Park.
“This facility represents the results of collaboration to foster innovation and industrial transformation, contributing to new momentum for sustainable development in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam,” Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao stated.
