This is not only a trend in Vietnam but also in many countries worldwide.
The workshop “Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Ho Chi Minh City (C4IR) – New Sustainable Growth Engine”, held today, April 25, in Ho Chi Minh City, serves not only as an introduction to C4IR but also as an opportunity to maximize intellectual contributions, ideas, and initiatives from government agencies, domestic and international experts, and businesses.
Among them are founding enterprises that will help define priority research areas and develop the operational plan for C4IR in Ho Chi Minh City for 2024 and beyond.
As the country’s economic locomotive and a locality expected to lead in innovation, digital transformation, industrial transformation, and green growth toward sustainable development following the issuance of Resolution 98 by the Prime Minister, Ho Chi Minh City faces an immediate challenge: how to research and apply policies suited to practical realities and how to secure high-quality human resources for the city in the context of Industry 4.0.

One of the solutions to this challenge is the establishment of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in Ho Chi Minh City, aimed at implementing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Vietnam and the World Economic Forum for the 2023–2026 period.
The workshop took place at the Innovation Hub Building (Galaxy Innovation Hub) located in Saigon Hi-Tech Park—a hub for Vietnam’s most advanced technology sectors, producing and delivering internationally standardized technology products.
This venue also hosts numerous projects, global high-tech corporations, and multinational investors such as Intel, Google, Facebook (USA); Nidec and Nipro (Japan); Samsung (South Korea), among others.
The Galaxy Innovation Hub (GIHub) acts as a bridge for creative ideas, supporting startups and technology enterprises, contributing to building an independent and self-sustaining economy for Ho Chi Minh City.
