On September 28, 2026, at Galaxy Innovation Hub, Galaxy Holdings and Van Lang University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing took place as part of the University–Industry Cooperation Forum 2026, themed “Connecting Industry Demand with High-Quality Talent Development for Emerging Technology Sectors.” Held under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with Galaxy Holdings and Van Lang University, the Forum welcomed more than 100 delegates from universities across Vietnam.
The journey began with an immersive visit to Galaxy Innovation Hub, where more than 100 delegates explored the workplace, technology infrastructure, and Digital Ecosystem of Galaxy Holdings firsthand. Beyond offering a closer look at a real-world corporate environment, the visit opened up discussions around a critical question: How can education keep pace with rapid technological change while addressing the real-world needs of businesses?

Galaxy Holdings was honored to welcome Mr. Dang Van Huan – Deputy Director General, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, together with representatives from Van Lang University and more than 100 universities to Galaxy Innovation Hub.

Addressing the talent challenge through knowledge transfer
Sharing his perspective on attracting and developing talent, Mr. Huynh Kim Tuoc – Chairman and CEO of Galaxy Holdings highlighted a challenge frequently raised at international economic forums: a shortage of approximately 50,000 technology engineers had once been a major barrier preventing many corporations from accelerating their investment in Vietnam, underscoring the urgent need to rapidly develop this workforce.

Mr. Tuoc Huynh – Chairman and CEO of Galaxy Holdings, shared his vision for attracting and developing talent
Vietnamese engineers working at global technology companies such as Google, Meta, Amazon, and Apple have demonstrated strong capabilities. Combined with open talent attraction mechanisms, such as the VIFC model in Ho Chi Minh City, connecting international experts with domestic enterprises can create a new wave of technology and knowledge transfer. This provides one of the most direct pathways for businesses and universities to accelerate the development of the next generation of highly skilled technology professionals.
Making real-world capabilities the measure of success
Building on this perspective, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai – Country HR Director of Galaxy Holdings emphasized that university–industry collaboration should go beyond simply providing students with exposure to the workplace. It should evolve into meaningful, goal-oriented partnerships with measurable outcomes. Through internships, real-world projects, mentoring, and the direct involvement of industry experts in education, Galaxy Holdings aims to bring students closer to the actual demands of the labor market while they are still at university.

Beginning a journey to develop the next generation of digital talent
The partnership was formally established with the signing of the MOU by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc – Deputy CEO of Galaxy Holdings and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu – President of Van Lang University. The agreement focuses on aligning academic programs more closely with real-world business needs through mentoring, hands-on projects, and the direct participation of industry experts in teaching and training activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu emphasized that the most meaningful measure of the MOU lies in how students develop their capabilities and become better prepared to take ownership of their future career opportunities:
Ultimately, what matters is being able to measure how learners’ capabilities improve. For a university, that is incredibly valuable.
An MOU is more than a signature – it marks the beginning of a journey to bring universities and businesses closer together. Building on this partnership, Galaxy Holdings will continue expanding its connections with universities, creating more touchpoints across Learning – Experience – Practice – Career, and contributing to the development of a new generation of talent ready for the digital era.
