A smart school goes beyond bringing technology into the classroom. It requires a safe, integrated operational ecosystem capable of connecting data throughout the entire student journey. Addressing this need, FinOS has developed Guardian Suite – an AI-powered ecosystem for school safety and operations, starting with three modules: Guardian Bus, Guardian Library, and Guardian Dining.
In July 2026, FinOS and Victoria School System (VSSS) officially signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new step forward in applying AI to school management and operations. Guardian Suite is being introduced as part of this strategic collaboration, with the aim of strengthening real-time monitoring, management, and alert capabilities, contributing to a safer, more transparent, and seamlessly operated school environment.
The initiative also aligns with Ho Chi Minh City’s education sector digital transformation priorities for the 2026–2027 academic year, which continue to emphasize digital transformation, smart school management, and the development of a positive and happy learning environment.
Built on the “Zero Oversight” philosophy – a school safety ecosystem powered by a unified core platform – Guardian Suite integrates Guardian Core (identity), Guardian Vision (AI-powered computer vision), Guardian Fusion (data integration), and Guardian Alert (alerts) across its modules. All data is connected through a unified “Safety Map”, enabling schools to monitor, detect, and respond to situations in real time. FinOS brings these four core technologies to life through three initial touchpoints: safe transportation, a digitalized library, and smart dining.

01 | GUARDIAN BUS – SAFETY AT EVERY TOUCHPOINT
Guardian Bus takes school transportation beyond “journey management” to create a closed-loop safety process, with dual authentication designed to minimize errors at every pick-up and drop-off point.

Powered by Guardian Vision, the system can accurately recognize students’ faces even when they are wearing masks or under low-light conditions inside the vehicle. Combined with RFID/NFC cards, every touchpoint – boarding, disembarking, and handover – is authenticated in real time.

The key differentiator lies in Guardian Alert. Rather than relying solely on passive attendance checks, the system proactively handles exceptional scenarios. If a student has not disembarked from the bus, or if an unauthorized person attempts to receive the student at handover, an alert is immediately triggered and sent to the operations center and parents. This is how FinOS creates an additional layer of technology-enabled protection and data control, helping schools enhance safety and transparency throughout every student transportation journey.
02 | GUARDIAN LIBRARY – A “TOUCHLESS” LIBRARY EXPERIENCE
Guardian Library is a smart library management platform that combines UHF RFID technology and facial recognition to digitalize book management, borrowing and returns, and inventory processes.

Guardian Library seamlessly combines long-range UHF RFID technology with AI-powered identity verification to create a “touchless library” experience. Students can borrow and return books simply by passing through the sensor area. The system simultaneously identifies the user and the asset ID (Book ID), then automatically updates their status without cumbersome manual procedures.

A key strength of Guardian Library is its ability to connect user identity and assets within a single process. The system tracks book status, sends due-date reminders, supports inventory management, and detects books leaving the library without a recorded transaction. Guardian Library helps schools automate operations, strengthen asset control, and reduce the administrative workload for librarians.
03 | GUARDIAN DINING – PERSONALIZED MEAL MANAGEMENT
Guardian Dining acts as an intelligent health safeguard, going beyond meal management by connecting directly with individual health profiles stored in Guardian Core.

FaceID/ID Card technology authenticates users, connects them with meal data, and updates information in real time. If a meal contains an allergen already recorded in the student’s profile, Guardian Alert immediately blocks the transaction and notifies medical staff. This is how FinOS applies technology to support personalized care while enabling more accurate supply management.

THREE PLATFORMS, ONE APPROACH TO SEAMLESS DATA DIGITALIZATION
The true strength of Guardian Suite lies not in its individual modules, but in its ability to unify data through Fusion. Activities spanning transportation, learning, and dining converge on the Safety Map, providing a foundation for schools to go beyond monitoring to anticipate needs and optimize operations through real-world data.
With plans to expand the pilot in Q4 2026 and scale deployment from Q1 2027, FinOS will continue enhancing Guardian Suite with additional modules including Visitor, Pool, Watch, Fire, Access, and Locate. Through this roadmap, Guardian Suite aims to help shape new standards for technology adoption in education, moving toward school operations that are smarter, safer, and ready to scale for the future.
