UX Designer (cum Product Insight Analyst)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Product person who focuses on UX Design with strong research ownership and solid product analytics literacy. You will drive discovery and insight work end-to-end: planning studies, synthesizing signals (research + behavior data), and translating them into clear recommendations and solution directions that squads can execute and measure.

This role sits inside Product Design to strengthen the discovery loop: signal → insight → recommendation → solution concept → validation

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

  • UX research delivery: plan and conduct studies (surveys, interviews, usability tests), synthesis, and insight communication.
  • Insight-to-recommendation workflow: combine qualitative + behavioral/product data to propose improvements proactively.
  • Storytelling & visualization: deliver clear, visual, insight-driven decisions, data-informed narratives for stakeholders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) UX Research (core)

  • Design research approaches: objectives, methodology, sampling, scripts, discussion guides, and analysis plans.
  • Conduct research activities: interviews, surveys, usability tests, concept tests, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Synthesize findings into actionable insights: user needs, pain points, motivations, and opportunity sizing.
  • Collaborate with Designers/PMs to turn findings into solution directions and measurable hypotheses.

2) Product & Data Analytics (product-focused)

  • Use analytics tools to monitor and analyze key product metrics: activation, retention, funnel conversion, feature adoption, drop-off points.
  • Build or maintain dashboards/reports to track product health and key initiatives.
  • Evaluate campaign and experiment performance (where applicable) to identify growth and UX opportunities.
  • Support segmentation and journey analytics (e.g., user cohorts, behavior patterns). (Advanced modeling is not the focus.)

3) Product insights & recommendations (proactive)

  • Combine quant + qual insights to propose UX/product improvements and prioritize opportunities with clear rationale.
  • Create insight deliverables that are stakeholder-ready: concise, visual, and decision-oriented.
  • Support post-launch evaluation: did it work, for whom, why/why not, and what to do next.

4) UIX design (to communicate solutions)

  • Create low-to-mid fidelity wireframes/flows or annotated concepts to communicate solution intent.
  • Partner with designers to refine final UX/UI details and ensure design system consistency.

Job requirements:

Must-have:

  • 2–5+ years experience as UX Designer / UX Researcher / Product Designer (research-heavy), or Product Insight roles with strong UX craft.
  • Strong research skills: study design, moderation, survey design, usability testing, synthesis frameworks, and insight reporting.
  • Solid understanding of product metrics and user journeys: funnels, cohorts, activation/retention, and behavioral analysis.
  • Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., GA4 / Amplitude / Mixpanel / Metabase / Firebase / Adjust or equivalents).
  • Strong storytelling and visualization skills can turn messy signals into clear narratives and recommendations.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and pushing for clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • A portfolio or case studies that clearly demonstrate your research process, methods, and how insights inform product decisions.
  • Open-minded and collaborative, with a strong knowledge-sharing mindset.
  • A good listener, able to receive and act on constructive and unexpected feedback.
  • Familiarity with experimentation concepts (A/B testing basics, interpreting results, limitations).

Recommended to have as a big plus:

  • Experience in loyalty, travel, fintech, e-commerce, subscription, or partner ecosystems.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Comfortable building insight workflows with tools like Jira / Lark Base (or similar).

What success looks like:

  • Discovery and research becomes more consistent: squads have clearer problem framing and fewer “opinion wars.”
  • Leaders and squads get timely, decision-ready insight updates (not just raw data or raw findings).
  • Improvements are measurable: initiatives ship with clear hypotheses + metrics and get evaluated post-launch.
  • The product team develops a shared understanding of users, journeys, and which levers move outcomes.

BENEFITS:

  • Competitive salary package (Base salary and performance bonuses).
  • Probation period salary is 100% of the official salary.
  • Comprehensive health and accident insurance.
  • 15 days of annual leave.
  • Provision of work equipment (Macbook/ Laptop, mouse, monitor, etc.).
  • A creative and modern working environment.
