Responsibilities and Duties:
Test Strategy & Test Plan Management
- Develop test plans and test approaches for SIT/UAT.
- Control testing scope and the quality of test cases.
QA/QC Team Management
- Manage the QA/QC team.
- Assign tasks and monitor testing progress.
- Mentor QA/Testers.
Governance & Quality Control
- Establish testing standards and guidelines.
- Report defects and assess their impact level.
- Manage quality according to BFSI processes.
Test Automation (if applicable)
- Develop automation testing strategies.
- Review frameworks and scripts developed by the Automation QA team.
- Perform other duties as requested by superiors
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience as a Manager for the QC stream.
- Experience in large-scale projects within the banking or securities sectors.
- Experience in implementing large-scale projects (digital banking, trading, core, LOS…) at major corporations, banks, or securities firms.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, proficiency across all 4 skills.
- Strong team management skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Strong coordination with PM/BA/Dev/SA.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under high pressure.
- Deep knowledge of financial testing (UAT/SIT for lending, core, trading).
- Proficiency in test design and defect management.
- Knowledge of API, database, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Katalon…) is an advantage.
