Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build a quality assurance system for all Japan-market projects.
- Develop test strategies and test processes in compliance with Japanese standards.
- Establish release and regression testing processes.
- Train QA and Development teams on quality mindset.
- Review test plans, test cases, and defect trends.
- Provide consultation on testing and deployment processes for clients.
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of QA experience, including 2–3 years as a QA Lead/Manager.
- Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above (mandatory).
- QA management experience.
- Test strategy development and automation overview.
- Quality metrics tracking and root cause analysis.
- Coaching and training.
- Systematic thinking with a defect prevention–oriented mindset.
- Working with Japanese stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of software testing processes and testing methodologies.
- Planning, design, write test case and run test case, report test.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be able to learn/self-investigate new knowledge.
- Prepare test data and environment as needed to complete testing assignments.
- Carefulness and logical thinking.
- Good at Time management.
