Key Responsibilities:
The Front-End Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, optimizing, and maintaining the company’s web applications. The position works closely with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, UI/UX Designer, Back-End Developer, QA/QC, and other stakeholders to transform business requirements into products with high quality, performance, and scalability.
UI and Component Development
- Develop modern, responsive web applications for Desktop and Mobile.
- Build reusable and maintainable components that comply with the project’s Front-End architecture.
- Use and extend the UI Component Library in accordance with the product’s Design System.
- Ensure that screens include appropriate loading states, error states, empty states, and necessary interaction states.
- Ensure that the UI meets basic accessibility and responsive design requirements.
Client-Side State and Data Management
- Manage server state and client state according to their intended purposes, avoiding overuse of global state.
- Build mechanisms for efficient caching, data synchronization, and mutation handling.
- Validate input/output data at application boundaries when necessary.
- Handle API responses, error handling, pagination, filtering, sorting, and Front-End data-related business logic.
- Support export/download file functions from APIs such as Excel, CSV, or other appropriate formats.
Routing, Authentication, and Authorization
- Build and extend routing for the application.
- Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and route-level error handling.
- Integrate authentication and authorization according to the system’s mechanisms.
- Implement route guards and control access permissions based on user roles/permissions.
API and Back-End System Integration
- Integrate REST APIs or other API protocols appropriate to the system.
- Coordinate with Back-End Developers to align on API Contracts and handle API changes.
- Handle timeouts, retries, error responses, and abnormal situations during communication with the Back-End.
- Ensure that data displayed on the UI is accurate and consistent with business requirements.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Write unit tests and component tests for critical functionalities.
- Perform type checking, linting, testing, and building before creating a Pull Request/Merge Request.
- Participate in code reviews and proactively improve source code quality.
- Coordinate with QA/QC to analyze and fix defects and prevent recurring issues.
- Comply with Coding Standards, Git Flow/Branching Strategy, and the company’s software development processes.
Performance Optimization
- Optimize rendering, bundle size, and page load time.
- Apply lazy loading, dynamic import, memoization, virtualization, and other appropriate techniques.
- Optimize screens with large amounts of data through server-side pagination, filtering, sorting, and virtualization.
- Monitor and improve Front-End performance metrics when necessary.
Security and Data Protection
- Comply with security principles in Front-End application development.
- Do not expose secrets, credentials, or sensitive data in source code and client-side storage.
- Do not log sensitive information such as tokens, OTPs, personally identifiable information, or subscriber data.
- Control and sanitize HTML data rendered from external sources.
- Coordinate in handling security issues identified during development and operations.
Documentation and Project Coordination
- Read and understand business requirements, specification documents, and API documentation.
- Write and update Front-End-related technical documentation when necessary.
- Coordinate with BA/PO/Designer/Backend/QA to clarify requirements and resolve issues during development.
- Participate in team estimation, planning, technical discussions, and retrospectives.
Job requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Good fundamental knowledge of programming and software development.
Experience
- At least 1 year of Front-End development experience with React/TypeScript in real-world projects.
- Experience participating in products from development through testing and operations is an advantage.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum is an advantage.
Technology Requirements:
- Language: TypeScript, JavaScript
- Framework: React, Next JS, Flutter, React Native
- Routing: React Router or equivalent routing solutions
- API: REST API, Axios, or equivalent HTTP Client
- Testing: Vitest/Jest, Testing Library, or equivalent frameworks
- Code Quality: ESLint, Prettier, TypeScript strict, Git
- Authentication: JWT/OAuth2 or equivalent authentication/authorization mechanisms
- Performance: Lazy Loading, Code Splitting, Memoization, Virtualization
- Browser: Understanding of Browser mechanisms, HTTP/HTTPS, Cookie, Local Storage/Session Storage, CORS
Professional Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Clear understanding of React component lifecycle, hooks, state management, and rendering.
- Ability to design highly reusable and maintainable components.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Separation of Concerns at a level appropriate for Front-End development.
- Basic understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, HTTP2.0, REST API, authentication, authorization, and web security.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot performance, memory, and rendering issues.
- Ability to read and understand API Contracts and coordinate with Back-End teams for system integration.
AI and Development Support Tools:
- Experience with AI/AI Agents is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to support work such as documentation research, error analysis, code assistance, code review, or test generation is an advantage.
- Ability to evaluate and verify results suggested by AI tools before integrating them into the system is an advantage.
Soft Skills:

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

- Experience developing products in Telecom/Fintech/E-commerce/Technology Platform.
- Experience building systems with a large number of users or high traffic volumes.
- Experience building Dashboards, Admin Portals, or complex business management systems.
- Experience handling screens with large amounts of data.
- Experience with Micro Frontend or large-scale Front-End architectures.
- Experience with WebSocket, Server-Sent Events, or real-time applications.
- Experience with CI/CD and software development processes on GitLab/GitHub.
- Good ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
- Experience applying AI to software development work is an advantage.
