Business Development Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and optimizing the operational aspects of card business development, including credit, debit, and prepaid card products. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Working closely with vendor & partner as process from sell channel assessment, negotiation, pricing, planning and execution
  • Execute and manage the end-to-end operational processes that support card product sales, issuance, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure all operations are executed smoothly, on time, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Continuously improve operational processes to boost efficiency and scalability.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Prepare periodic reports and performance dashboards for management related to card performance / portfolio performance.
  • Identify gaps and propose data-driven solutions to enhance card performance.

Partnership & Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with strategic partners in selling & advertising (service vendor) in card projects or joint campaigns.
  • Manage project timelines, execution plans, and ensure partner alignment.

Product & Campaign Support:

  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to operationalize new card offerings and incentive programs.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for new initiatives and ensure seamless execution.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to mitigate operational risks

Job requirements:

Qualifications & Working experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in card product operations, business development, or related functions within banking or fintech or insurance.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau is a plus).
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
