Ho Chi Minh City, March 6, 2026 – Galaxy One Co., Ltd. has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vietnam Data Security Joint Stock Company (VNDS – Vietnam Data Security), marking an important milestone in establishing a strategic partnership aimed at promoting services and solutions for personal data protection.

Starting January 1, 2026, the Personal Data Protection Law officially came into effect in Vietnam, requiring organizations and businesses to establish the Data Protection Officer (DPO) function to ensure that personal data governance and processing comply fully with legal regulations. Violations may be subject to penalties of up to 5% of the previous fiscal year’s total revenue or up to VND 3 billion, depending on the severity of the violation when authorities conduct inspections, audits, and supervision.
In response to increasingly stringent compliance requirements under the legal framework for data governance, Galaxy One and VNDS have quickly established a strategic partnership to provide comprehensive services and solutions in personal data protection.
Under this collaboration, Galaxy One will leverage its strengths in technology infrastructure, digital solution deployment, and system operations, while VNDS will contribute its deep expertise in data security, compliance consulting, and security standards. Since the beginning of 2026, the leadership of Galaxy Holdings has appointed Galaxy One as the provider of DPO services and data compliance governance for companies within the Galaxy Digital Ecosystem. Accordingly, Galaxy One has rapidly implemented service contracts and coordinated with VNDS – a partner that previously worked with Galaxy One to complete the Data Processing Impact Assessment documentation submitted to Department A05 under the Ministry of Public Security – to deploy personal data protection services and solutions.
Therefore, during the ceremony, Galaxy One also awarded DPO service contracts to Galaxy Holdings and its member companies within the Galaxy Digital Ecosystem, including: Galaxy Joy, Galaxy Technology, Galaxy Pay, Galaxy Telecom, Galaxy Connect, FinOS. This demonstrates the commitment to simultaneously implementing legal compliance and data governance practices in accordance with personal data protection regulations across the entire Galaxy Digital Ecosystem.
