Job Summary:
Galaxy Telecom is a member company of Galaxy Holdings — a technology conglomerate under Sovico Group. We focus on developing next-generation telecommunications products such as SkyFi – a next-generation mobile network providing physical SIMs and eSIMs with domestic and international voice and data packages, delivering a flexible, convenient, and borderless user experience.
The Back-End Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance server systems, databases, and APIs. This position is also responsible for ensuring the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from architecture design and coding to technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
System Development & Architecture
- Develop robust Back-End services, with a primary focus on Java.
- Design and implement efficient system communication architectures using REST APIs, gRPC, and build integration systems through Webhooks.
- Design and develop systems based on Microservices architecture.
Big Data Processing & Performance Optimization
- Build and operate scalable Big Data processing systems.
- Optimize system performance to ensure low latency and high throughput.
- Analyze and optimize database queries.
Deployment & Operations
- Package applications and manage deployment environments using Docker and Docker Compose.
- Deploy and monitor systems in the production environment.
Security & Information Security
- Apply Secure Coding principles throughout the software development process.
- Ensure system security complies with current information security standards.
- Handle and protect sensitive data in accordance with applicable regulations.
Job requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer.
- Proficient in Java programming (Spring Boot).
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing systems based on Microservices architecture.
- Experience in building Big Data Processing Systems.
- Experience in system performance optimization.
- Knowledge of and practical experience in Secure Coding.
- Proficient in using Docker and containerization technologies.
- Strong understanding of both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
Required Tech Stack
- Programming Language: Java (Spring Boot)

- Protocols & APIs: REST API, gRPC, Webhooks, GraphQL
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch

Information Security Knowledge
- Understand and apply the OWASP Top 10 principles.
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
- Strong understanding of best practices for data encryption and key management.
- Understanding of common security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.).
Soft Skills

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.

- Strong technical writing skills with clarity and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Telecommunications industry.
- Experience integrating with telecom operator systems (MobiFone, Vinaphone, Viettel).
- Relevant professional certifications (AWS, Oracle, Spring, Security certifications).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
