Financial Service Marketing Expert

Job Descriptions:

Galaxy Joy: The unit responsible for developing and operating the Sky Joy loyalty alliance program for member companies within Sovico Group, while expanding an integrated ecosystem through strategic partnerships in Vietnam and globally.

The Financial Service Marketing Expert is responsible for the growth and commercial success of Co-branded Cards. Unlike traditional marketing, this role requires a deep “Product-First” mentality—understanding the technical infrastructure (APIs, BRDs) and product mechanics to design high-converting marketing campaigns, optimize the digital acquisition funnel, and maximize the lifetime value of cardholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Marketing & Go-To-Market (GTM)

  • Translate complex product features and technical value propositions into compelling marketing messages that resonate with SkyJoy members.
  • Lead GTM strategies for new card launches, ensuring seamless coordination between banking partners (e.g., HDBank, VPBank) and the Vietjet ecosystem.
  • Define and execute “Product-Led Growth” initiatives, using data and experimentation to improve the conversion rate of the digital application journey.

Customer Lifecycle & Value Management

  • Deeply analyze the customer journey to identify friction points in the card application or activation process.
  • Design automated lifecycle marketing campaigns (Email, App Push, SMS) based on API-driven triggers to encourage card usage and spend.
  • Monitor daily business performance, acting as a Marketing “Business Owner” to ensure the profitability and visibility of card products.

Technical & Partner Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Tech team to ensure marketing tools and tracking (attribution, event logging) are correctly implemented via APIs.
  • Work with external partners (UnionPay, Visa/Mastercard) on joint marketing funds (JMF) and co-marketing executions.
  • Bridge the gap between technical constraints and creative solutions to deliver a “wow” experience for the customer.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Card Product Management or Product Marketing, ideally in Retail Banking or Fintech.
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with Card products and a solid understanding of the “under-the-hood” mechanics (Policy, Process, Risk, and Technical BRDs).
  • Sector Experience: Background in Banking, Fintech, or Digital Financial Services. Experience with challenger banks, payment schemes, or FX is a major plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Literacy: Ability to discuss API connections and digital banking services with engineers while extracting the “key information” for marketing.
  • Analytical Mindset: A strong interest in data; ability to run A/B tests, analyze funnels, and balance quantitative data with qualitative user feedback.
  • Agile & Execution-focused: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and aligning stakeholders quickly.
  • Design Thinking: Ability to visualize the customer life cycle and build marketing strategies that enhance the overall product experience.
