Job Descriptions:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Design and implement end-to-end IoT architecture for the SOVICO ecosystem, including smart building systems for urban and resort developments, logistics infrastructure monitoring, airline baggage tracking, smart energy management, and industrial IoT solutions that support comprehensive digital transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Design IoT Reference Architecture for the SOVICO ecosystem, covering Edge Computing, Gateway, Cloud Platform, and Data Analytics.<\/li>\n
  • Build a centralized IoT Platform including Device Management, Data Ingestion, Rule Engine, and Digital Twin capabilities for verticals such as Smart Building, Aviation, Logistics, and Energy.<\/li>\n
  • Design Edge Computing architecture with real-time processing at edge nodes for low-latency use cases such as security monitoring, HVAC control, and baggage tracking.<\/li>\n
  • Develop multi-protocol connectivity strategies, including MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Zigbee, and BLE, tailored to each business vertical.<\/li>\n
  • Design IoT Data Pipelines for time-series data ingestion (millions of data points per second), storage, analytics, and visualization.<\/li>\n
  • Build an IoT Security Framework, including device authentication, secure boot, OTA firmware updates, and end-to-end data encryption.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with hardware partners (sensor and gateway vendors) to evaluate, select, and integrate devices.<\/li>\n
  • Develop Digital Twin models for buildings, airports, and logistics warehouses to optimize operations.<\/li>\n
  • Assess ROI and develop business cases for IoT initiatives, presenting recommendations to C-level stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Mandatory Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years specializing in IoT, Embedded Systems, or Industrial Automation.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience deploying large-scale IoT platforms (10,000+ devices) in at least one vertical: Smart Building, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Energy.<\/li>\n
    • Deep understanding of IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, OPC-UA, and wireless technologies including LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, WiFi 6, and BLE 5.x.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with IoT Cloud platforms such as AWS IoT Core \/ Greengrass, Azure IoT Hub \/ Edge, or open-source platforms such as ThingsBoard and EMQX.<\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of Edge Computing frameworks such as AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, KubeEdge, and EdgeX Foundry.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Time-Series databases such as InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, Apache IoTDB, and data streaming technologies (Kafka, MQTT broker clustering).<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of Embedded Systems, including firmware development (C\/C++), RTOS, and hardware-software integration.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in IoT Security, including X.509 certificates, TLS\/DTLS, secure elements, and OTA update mechanisms.<\/li>\n
    • Proficient in English, with the ability to work effectively with international vendors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications \/ Advantages:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

      • Experience with Digital Twin platforms such as Azure Digital Twins and AWS IoT TwinMaker.<\/li>\n
      • Understanding of BMS (Building Management System), SCADA, and PLC systems in smart building \/ industrial environments.<\/li>\n
      • Experience with Computer Vision at the Edge (NVIDIA Jetson, Intel OpenVINO) for monitoring and recognition applications.<\/li>\n
      • AWS IoT Specialty or Azure IoT Developer certification is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
