Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyze requirement and clarify to create plan/design/testcase in Japanese.
- Update test documents (Test plan, test cases, test report).
- Estimate testing activities.
- Open and verify bugs.
- Prepare test data and environment as needed to complete testing assignments.
- Open, verify report, track, and monitor bug/defects in the defect tracking system.
- Meeting with customers to report status daily, issues and verify requirements.
- Communicate directly with team and customers about issues or problems.
- Work closely with the development team to develop, maintain and execute manual test cases.
- Perform other duties as requested by superiors.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate degree or higher in information technology, computer science, language or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years’ working experience in writing plans, writing design, testcase and testing web and mobile applications.
- Good knowledge of software testing process and testing methodologies.
- Proficient in Japanese communication (N3 – N2 level).
- Ability to maintain a system-level overview with approximately 1 year of experience in developing system tests.
- Having basic knowledge about programming languages, databases, web technology is a plus.
- Know more about automated testing (automation test: selenium test ect).
- Good teamwork spirit and a willingness to understand the various roles played by fellow team members.
- Deep and coherent logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Have ability in management, training for Junior Tester/Tester.
