Responsibilities and Duties:
A Senior DevOps Engineer is an expert who supports developers, implements best practices, and ensures smooth code deployment to production servers. They optimize software development processes, focusing on efficiency and reliability, with expertise in operating system design and database management systems software installation.
- Overseeing the devops team day to day.
- Striving to automate our CI/CD pipeline, from development to deployment and release flow. This also includes automated tests, code analysis, and reports.
- Exploring new technology standards to perfect our devops cycle.
- Managing our infrastructure including servers, security rules, networking.
- Envisioning and deploying cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure continuous operation of our products.
- Maintaining good documentation of our infrastructure, deployment of services, configurations, and changing logs.
- Gather requirements, and documents, and negotiate directly with customers.
- Collaboration with other teams for operational issues.
- Perform other duties as requested by superiors.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science or related disciplines.
- Good to know Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, (Code Commit, Code Build, Code Pipeline).
- At least 3 years’ experience with DevOps.
- Experience with AWS or K8s (VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route 53…).

Experience with DevOps tools:

Experience with Docker Container.

Proficient in Terraform or CloudFormation.

Linux Sysadmin experience (Bash scripting is preferred).

Experience in team management with 2 staffs and above.

Good in English in both communication & writing is a plus.

Ability to drive multi projects. Ability to work well under pressure.
