Responsibilities:
We are seeking a visionary technology leader to drive the digital transformation of our aviation ecosystem. This role plays a central part in shaping the future of airports, airlines, and aviation services by defining the long-term technology strategy, leading innovation, and orchestrating large-scale digital programs across the entire value chain. The ideal candidate is a senior executive with deep expertise in aviation technology and the proven ability to build modern, scalable, customer-centric platforms that elevate operational efficiency, safety, and commercial performance. This position directly partners with top leadership to accelerate the organization’s transformation into a data-driven, technology-powered aviation enterprise.
1. Ecosystem-level Data Governance & Compliance
- Shape the business development and technology strategy for the Aviation division, integrating aviation models, digital products, operations, and data to drive sustainable growth. Serve as a strategic leader in building a modern, multi-service, secure digital ecosystem aligned with domestic and international market trends.
- Demonstrates strong business excellence acumen, with real world achievement and ability to translate strategy into operational execution, drive performance, and deliver results.
- Lead the technology development strategy for the aviation sector, integrating business models, operations, and technology ecosystems to drive sustainable growth. Serve as the visionary shaping the digital transformation strategy and ensuring successful execution across the entire aviation value chain (airports, airlines, ground handling, logistics, customer experience, loyalty, etc.).
- Develop the aviation technology strategy aligned with business objectives and global market trends.
- Define the technology product/service roadmap, covering airport operations, flight operations, airline management, passenger service systems (PSS, DCS), e-commerce, loyalty, CRM, MRO, and more.
- Oversee the execution of large-scale digital transformation programs, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and at high quality.
- Collaborate with business units to develop new revenue models, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency through data, AI, and automation.
- Analyze global aviation technology trends (NDC, biometrics, automation, smart airport, robotics, digital twin, etc.) and provide recommendations for adoption across the aviation ecosystem.
- Establish technology governance and product operations frameworks following international standards (ITIL, ISO, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Manage and develop technology teams, international vendors, and solution partners.
- Work directly with senior leadership to propose investment strategies, operating models, and organizational structures for aviation technology.
Job requirements:
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in information technology, preferably with hands-on experience in aviation or related systems (aviation, travel tech, airport operations, airline IT).
- Previously held senior executive roles such as CEO, CSO, CTO, Head of Aviation Technology, Transformation Director, or similar.
- Deep understanding of the aviation business model and related ecosystems: airport operations, airline operations, commercial functions, safety & security, logistics, and operational finance.
- Strong capability in strategic planning, leading transformation, and managing large-scale technology programs.
- Experience in budget management, vendor management, and negotiating major technology contracts.
- Strong business–technology–customer mindset; ability to drive innovation and digitalization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with airlines, airports, international organizations (IATA, ICAO), or major aviation technology providers.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI, big data, automation, or Smart Airport initiatives.
- Strong understanding of aviation industry trends over the next 5–10 years.
