Responsibilities and Duties:
- QC Team Lead will play a primary role in coordinating testing efforts, managing a team of QC Engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases in a timely manner.
- Review and clarify requirements.
- Work closely with the development team to develop, assign tasks to team members, maintain, and execute manual test cases.
- Report, track, and monitor defects in the defect tracking system.
- Update test documents (Test plan, test design, test cases, test report).
- Provide estimates for testing task times and meeting durations.
- Open and verify bugs.
- Communicate directly with team and customers about issues or problems.
Qualifications
- From 5 years of working experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Experienced in a lead role or management position (Team size from 5 members).
- Excellent Japanese speaking and writing skills equivalent to N2 or above.
- Good knowledge of software testing processes and testing methodologies.
- Planning, design, write test case and run test case, report test.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be able to learn/self-investigate new knowledge.
- Basic knowledge about programming languages, databases, web technology.
- Prepare test data and environment as needed to complete testing assignments.
- Carefulness and logical thinking
- Good at Time management.
