Job Descriptions:

As a Product Owner at FinOS, you will take end-to-end ownership of both internal platforms/services and customized partner solutions (eKYC, eSignature, Micro-Lending, etc.). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—Sales, Tech, AI, and Delivery—to build scalable, secure, and high-impact fintech products that drive business performance and innovation.

1. Internal Products (Services & Platforms)

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify user problems, define success metrics, and manage product backlog using data-driven prioritization.
  • Write and manage PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria (BDD).
  • Lead discovery (user interviews, JTBD, prototyping, experiments) and delivery (sprint planning, review, release).
  •  Collaborate with Tech/AI/QA/DevOps teams on architecture design, API/SDK, security, and performance optimization.

2. Partner Solutions (Vendors & Customers)

  • Collect and analyze business requirements, conduct gap analysis and design end-to-end solutions.
  • Manage vendors: RFP/RFQ process, capability evaluation, SLA tracking, and integration roadmap.
  • Lead PoC, Pilot, and Go-Live phases; manage change requests, risks, and compliance (security, privacy, data protection).

3. Business Enablement

  • Support Sales/Pre-sales teams in solution demos, effort estimation, and proposal/SoW preparation.
  • Translate business opportunities into product roadmap and release planning.

4. Performance & Operations

  • Track and optimize key KPIs:adoption, conversion, uptime/SLA, time-to-yes, fraud/default rate, cycle time, NPS/CSAT.
  • Maintain product documentation: BRD/PRD, API mapping, data flow diagrams, and reports.

5. Culture & Collaboration

  • Act with ownership, customer focus, and team-first mindset.
  • Coach the team to work in a data-driven and outcome-oriented manner.

 Job Requirements:

Must-have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager or Business-Tech hybrid in FinTech, Banking, InsurTech, Payment, or Identity.
  •  Hands-on experience in at least one domain: eKYC/eID, eSignature, Lending/Credit Scoring, Payments, Fraud/Risk, or Data/AI applications.
  • Proficient in PRD writing, user story definition, backlog grooming, and prioritization frameworks (RICE/ICE/MoSCoW).
  • Familiar with API/SDK design, JSON, HTTP status codes, and system/data-flow diagrams.
  • Understanding of security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., KYC/AML).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams, vendors, and partners.
  •  Analytical and data-driven mindset: capable of designing metrics, using dashboards/SQL, and conducting experiments.

Nice-to-have:

    • Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English (technical and business).
    • Certifications such as PSPO/CSPO, PMP/PMI-ACP are a plus.
    • Experience with AI/ML, OCR, LLM/RAG, rule-engine, BPMN, or event-driven systems is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with multi-tenant platforms, API versioning, SLA/performance monitoring, or OWASP/IAM security practices.
    • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Scrumban methodologies with full rituals (planning, review, retro).
    • Demonstrated qualities: ownership, bias-to-action, customer-centricity, and collaboration.
