Responsibilities:
The AI Expert plays a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions that deliver real business impact across the Galaxy Holdings ecosystem. This role works closely with AI leadership, product teams, data teams, and business stakeholders to transform advanced AI technologies into scalable, production-ready solutions.
1. AI Model Development & Application
- Design, develop, train, and optimize AI/ML models, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and LLM-based solutions.
- Build applied AI use cases such as: Predictive analytics, scoring, and forecasting; Recommendation and personalization engines; Fraud detection and risk assessment; NLP, GenAI, chatbots, AI assistants; Computer Vision and Voice AI (as applicable)
- Customize and fine-tune foundation models or domain-specific models for industries such as finance, real estate, commerce, aviation, and services.
2. Data & AI Engineering Collaboration
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and MLOps teams to ensure scalable, efficient, and reliable AI pipelines.
- Participate in data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Support deployment of AI models into production environments using MLOps best practices.
3. AI Solution Design & Architecture
- Contribute to the design of AI system architectures, including integration with Data Platforms, Cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure AI solutions meet standards for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Apply responsible AI principles related to bias, fairness, explainability, and privacy.
4. Business & Product Alignment
- Demonstrates strong business excellence acumen, with real world achievement and ability to translate strategy into operational execution, drive performance, and deliver results.
- Work closely with Product Owners and business teams to translate business problems into AI solutions.
- Support proof-of-concept (PoC) development and scale successful pilots into production.
- Clearly communicate AI concepts, results, and limitations to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Research, Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with the latest developments in AI, GenAI, LLMs, and applied machine learning.
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies for potential adoption.
- Contribute to internal AI standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- 5–8+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science roles (flexible based on seniority).
- Hands-on experience delivering production AI systems, not just research or experimentation.
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and LLMs.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
- Experience in NLP, GenAI, or Computer Vision is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of: Data engineering fundamentals; Model evaluation and performance metrics; MLOps concepts (CI/CD for ML, monitoring, versioning)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and AI infrastructure (GPU environments) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Business-oriented mindset: understands how AI creates value.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Curious, proactive, and passionate about applying AI in real-world scenarios.
